Hey all,

I was playing around with the beta for Office 12 and decided to check out the new limits for Excel in Office 12. It's kinda neat so I wanted to share :)

Here is a screenshot I just took.

How about that? Yes folks, that over 1 million rows and 16,000 columns. XFD1048576... what a cell reference :)

Those figures are a bit misleading on a blank spreadsheet. Start putting some data into the spreadsheet and I doubt if you would get anywhere near those numbers.

I believe Dr. Nick's info was suggesting that you are no longer limited by so few rows.

I could create a speadsheet with data only in the noted row and I am sure it work just fine (although I never would do that).
