With Office XP 2000, I'm getting this error when autoarchive. Any help would be great.
Here's the error:

Error while archiving store "mailbox- xxxxx" Cannot open the destination store "C:\Documents and Settings........" Is it password protected? This version of Outlook doesn't support archiving to password protected archive stores.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

I'd move any and all pst files out of the user's profile. If the profile gets corrupt, the data can be lost.

Then, adjust the Outlook configuration accordingly.
