error MS Outlook runs low on memory

I have MS Outlook that regularly complains about running low on memory. With 1 GB of physical RAM on the computer, I dont think that the RAM is the issue. So I went increasing the paging file. It worked fine for a while, but regularly MS Outlook continues to crash if error "MS Outlook is running low on memory" even if I continue increasing the paging file. MS Outlook 97 Windows 2000 Pro
