End/Foot notes in MS Word 2007

May 26, 2011 at 02:51:57
Specs: Windows XP
I know how to insert a Footnote or an Endnote, but I've come across a situation where I'd like to be able to put notes in the main body of the document - referenced from elsewhere in the document. Effectively an 'Endnote' but NOT placing it in it's own 'reserved' area just above the Footer area.

I have tried to edit the original posting but cannot!! I need to insert the word 'NOT' in to make my question make sense!! I want to put my end/footnote somewhere OTHER than in it's usual place! I want to be able to put it in the main body of the document.
