Hi,
I have answers to web survey in my Outlook Express Inbox. Messages are like this:
VAR1 = First Name VAR2 = Surname VAR3 = Sex . . .
Now I would like to create statistical data with variables in columns from these email messages. SPSS or Excel format. How to do the trick, any ideas? Thank you for you comments.

Thanks, but there are so many of them that I would prefer more automatic way to process all the messages.

At work we do similar conversions, What our guys tend to do is write a batch file in dos that reads a txt file then cuts required parts out of the file eg line 1 characters 6 -15 which would be "First Name" then compiles this info in a new txt document or even email you the document. Draw back is I do not know ho to do it myself but I am sure some of the DOS guy's in the dos forum would.
Hope it helps a little.

also note on the above, the batch file can be set to run at any time or times eg every hour.
