I'm working in a school district in which our webmail just sucks(slow as molasses). I'd like to give teachers a dedicated email client to use for email retrieval. However, they check their email from any number of computers in the building, so I need a client in which I can set up the POP3/SMTP info, but not have to input a specific user account info. I'd like them to be able to just input their user account name and password and get their mail. Is there a freeware email client that will do this? I've searched with no luck. Thanks

Well, any client that you want to use can be configured so that the data is stored on a user's share folder on the server. That way, no matter which machine the users log into, they will have access to his/her share and in turn, if the software is configured properly, access to the email. Eudora is very easy to configure for this if that's what you want to do.
Perhaps you can clarify if the users are indeed accessing any individual shares, or storing profile data on the server.
