Comment:

I have a defined list of entries on a separate worksheet for a Drop Down List Box.

C1 720p
C2 1080i

Originally, I highlighted these two entries, typed a name in the little box on the toolbar and it's done. Now I can't seem to add any more values while updating the list with the same name.

I try the following

I enter into C3 1080p

When I highlight all of the entries and try to type the same name, it automatically excludes the new entry and reverts to using the other two only.

How can I re-save an updated list using the same List name?

I think I found it.

Insert --> Name --> Define

and then select range of cells for the List Name
