I am trying to install Esteem Plus Software but I got the error message "The Win16 Subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOSX.exe must be in your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your PATH."
I have found DOSX.exe in system file and I didn't touch anything on this file. My operating system is windows vista home premium, service pack 2 with 32-bit.
Can anyone please offer some help ? In simple terms ? I`d be grateful !

Your Extreme Plus software sounds like a legacy DOS application from the error message issued; better you post in the Windows Vista Forum, anyway how are you performing the install?
DOSX.exe is the emulated DOS Extender loaded by default in NT command prompt. In Start Menu select run, then type cmd and in the window opened try the installation set up.
