Heya folks, got a tricky problem.
I recently brought a new machine to replace our old Family one, but I desperately need the Outlook Information from the original Computer; Messages, Email Accounts etc, which were all compiled on a single identity.
Problem is, I have the old HDD inside a USB Enclosure, so it's literally another Operating System and navigating it like a Flash Memory Stick.
There's no obvious location of a "Profiles" or "Identities" folder, nor anyway to run the Outlook on my System with any relation to the one on the External Drive. Importing methods don't seem to help, as it would rely on the Outlook Express on the old Family PC to have Exported them properly, not just try and copy from it's directories (where-ever they are hidden).
I'm desperate and stuck. Best thing I can come up with is trying to boot the HDD via USB (I believe this is possible), and load that old Computer Operating System up again on my computer, to export the information properly, shut that down, and then start my OWN Operating System, and Import the Exports I made.
For the record, I don't think I'll be getting hold of the old Family PC System to boot it up in that again.
SO, I spose the Ultimate question is, where is the folder which contains all the Identity information for Outlook Express?

Biggest part of the battle won, managed to import the Mail Directory, so I have all the Emails/Mail Folders from:
J:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities
(Windows 98 Machine it came from)Can't seem to extract the information from "Pop3uidl.dbx", which I think could be holding the Email Account settings... hopefuly my Brother (who created the Accounts with his Web Package) can fill in the details, but I need this ASAP XD
And I believe my Parents have some other accounts not with my Brothers Host, so now I'm looking for an answer to the following:
How do I Import the Email Account(s) Information from the Raw Data Files? I am assuming Pop3uidl.dbx is the correct file to be looking at.

Never mind, I managed to USB Boot the old HDD, and although Exporting Mail Account Settings didn't work (I believe due to version differences between the Outlook Express Programs), and copying the Registries for keeping Mail Filters & Redirection also did NOT work, I took the manual route instead.
I took the initiative and manually copied the Account Settings to paper, believing Microsoft would let me down and not import the Settings properly on the new Outlook Express (Interoperability ffs, they should INCORPORATE IT!). Only problem left is passwords, as my parents don't remember them. Most of that is cleared up since my Brother manages the accounts, but the other accounts rest with me to work out.
Thanks for reading -_-
