I am creating a mail merge for some checks.
I have an excel spreadsheet where word is picking up the data to create a mail merger
now in excel i have an amount column, so when the checks are printed the amount shows up on the check, but you know that line next to the amount where you have to put in words the amount.
Well i would like that written in there as well.
I could create another column for the mail merge to pick up, that could have the written form of the amount but that would take me forever as i have about 3 thousand amounts to change.
Can excel or word translate the numbers for me from digits to characters for the mail merge without me inputing each one by one?

If there's a way, DerbyDad03 would know how. He's a wiz with Excel macros and VBA code.
Although there are lots of software programs out there that will do this for you. Take a look here: http://check-writing-software-revie...
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Ms. Sumn, thanks for the compliment, but the OP doesn't need my help when Google is available.
Try this search criteria:
