Solved Delete Data Validation within a macro

Hi Guys,
Been a while, but I have stumbled upon an issue that I just cant get to grips with

I have a dropdown box of a list of names. I have a macro that copies and pastes the name within the dropdown box to another cell on another sheet.

However the cell on the second sheet then becomes a dropdown box.

I need vba instruction to cancel the data validation just for that one cell on the second sheet so that the name is permanent within that cell address

Any ideas?

Since you didn't include any code for us to look at, the best we can do is offer a generic solution.

You say that the code pastes the data to "another cell", so my generic suggestion is to include the following instruction after the Copy/Paste instruction:

Range("another cell").Validation.Delete
