Solved Delete blank rows and columns

Specs: Windows XP
To reduce the size of a file. No mater how many blank rows or columns are deleted the spreadsheet shows more than 60,000 rows

Because you have removed them individually the spreadsheet still regards the deleted rows as being part of the spreadsheet, so assuming you now have a load of blank rows and columns at the bottom or to the side of the spreadsheet you now need to delete those cells en-masse so select the unused area below, delete them again, repeat with the unused area to the side, and then re-save your spreadsheet. You should see the scroll bars only go down to the bottom of your data and the filesize should be smaller.
