✔ Best Answer
Data in all cells changes to £0.00

What was the data type before you did the transpose?

Have you tried to Format the data in the form you want?

For 2007:

Select the range of cells you want to Reformat
On the Ribbon
Select Format (over on the far right of Ribbon)
Select Format Cells (at the bottom of pop-up)
Select the type of Format you want your data to appear as.
I.E. Number, Currency or Accounting.

Also, Excel questions are best asked in the Office Software forum.

Thanks for this Mike.

I carried on playing and discovered that within the 'Paste Special' option I should not have ticked 'All' - which seemed intuitive - but should instead have ticked 'values' before transposing.

This solved my problem after several frustrating hours. And the YouTube Demos make it look far more straightforward!
