On the menu bar click on View>ToolBars>Forms to add the Forms toolbar. In the forms toolbar click on the "Drop Down Form Field" button to insert the dropdown field where you want it.
Go to help and search for "drop down" then in the results look for the item on "How to add items to a drop down form field".
