Have a couple of computers that use Outlook EVERY DAY......both have big contact books....lots of saved emails...etc.
Well...Neither appear to have a .pst file...
I have searched for *.pst and outlook.pst (in the Entire drive)...and NOTHING shows.
In the folder settings I DO have the "show hidden files" enabled. Is that file ever named anything else?

Make sure the "Hide file extensions for known file types" and "Hide protected operating system files" are also unchecked. If the Personal Folders are local, then they are indeed pst files.

Did not look for those settings....that's prolly why the do not show...

I just when to that location and copied it.
Thanks for the info....either should work for any others needing to locate that file.
