Morning all, I am doing an assignment and changing between laptop, and work PC using a 2gb USB pen drive. I save at night on laptop and open up in the morning at work to do in spare time. However I opened it up this morning and this is what I get. Don't you have a copy on either the laptop or desktop hard drive? It looks like corrupted data. You may have removed the pen drive before it had completed writing. Did you unmount the pen drive before removing.

What program are you using? Life's more painless for the brainless.

Office XP, no I beleive that to be the problem. Removed it before it had completley disconnected. Have managed to retreive most of it. Well they say lifes a learning curve. So I learnt Thanks alll all the same
