✔ Best Answer
Left-click once on the URL in the URL bar in your browser. Click Ctrl + C. Left-click once wherever you wish to paste the URL. Click Ctrl + V.

Next time, please tell us a little more about your problem (such as what browser you are using for this, and where you are trying to paste the URL) so we can help you better.

The URL has to be highlighted (blue) before you copy it with Ctrl + C. If necessary swipe it left to right while holding the left mouse key down.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If it is on the android tablet, normally you just tap the address bar and the the popup copy icon...then touch where it needs to be pasted and touch the paste icon.

edit: note the reason i posted this is because he is claiming to own an acer tablet...:) in another post

Re #3

Ah yes, maybe telus should let us know what device he is using. Whatever, it seems to all be covered now.

Another option is to right-click the address bar. This will highlight the URL and present the Copy command with one click. You can also use a right-click to Paste. No keyboard needed.

Nope...what about the iPad?

Long tap (hold) the URL, choose Select All then chose Copy.

Long tap (Hold) to get then Paste menu to appear.

(I know his specs says Windows 7, but it's not clear where this URL copying is being done. In addition, I'm not sure why this is in the Office Forum.)
