I have a folder called 'Form64 & MPR 2009'. The folder contains three excel 2003 files viz. Form64 & MPR 2009, Form64 2009 and MPR 2009. I used to work in Form64 & MPR 2009 workbook having Form64, MPR, Sheet1, Sheet2 Tabs.
The question is: how i can copy MPR and Form64 Sheets from form64 & MPR 2009 workbook to MPR 2009 and Form64 2009 workbook respectively at the end of every month automatically without requiring to open the destination workbooks?. In addition to this, I want the destination workbook to have tab named as "Sept" if copied in sept' month, "Oct" if copied in Oct' Month and so on. Please note that Oct' tab(Sheet) should not overwrite Sept' Tab. further, if possible all formatting should be copied as is except formulas. Sorry for lenthy question because i have to explain what i need.

re: without requiring to open the destination workbooks?
You can't. You can read from a closed workbook, but you can't write to it.
The best you can do is use some VBA code to open it hidden and then save/close it afterwards.

re: VBA code to open it hidden and then save/close it afterwards.Waiting to see the possible solution even if i had to open the destination workbooks. Better if VBA code is used to open it hidden and then save/close it afterwards but I have no knowledge of VBA code. Looking for your help.
