Copy / Paste Issue

This is a weird problem i have when trying to copy and paste into word. If i have 2 word windows open (say, document1 and document2) and i try and copy someting from document1 and paste it into document2, it works fine. How ever if i only have document1 open, copy something, open document2, and then paste it, a small icon of a pda gets pasted into the document instead of what i copied. This only happens when i am trying to comp from some program to a microsoft office program. Waht is wrong?
PS: I have office xp with all the latest patches, etc.

Sounds like you're getting the whole page instead of the selected text.
Try dragging and highlighting only what you want and then try it.
If it still doesn't work, then try using the Paste Special feature in Word.
Hope this helps!

No that's not it. It dosn't matter what or how much i copy (it can be the url from IE, or a whole document in notepad, or an excel spreed sheet) i still get a litle icon, it's only about 10x10 pixels but it looks like a pda.
