copy doc without bookmark

Specs: Windows XP
hi i have 2 word doc both with bookmarks
when i copy text from one to another the bookmark is olso copied any idea how to copy without the bookmark only the text

You can do Copy and then in the other document use PasteSpecial... and select 'Unformatted Text'

The bookmarks did not get copied when I tried it.

If this works and you need to do it a lot, you can setup your own 'Paste as Text' button on a toolbar, to do a one-step PasteSpecial.

If you are interested in the button option I can give you the code and instructions.
