Converting Excel to word

It will be easier to make the change in Excel and then take it to Word/PDF. What you want to do is transpose the cells. You can use a function to do it (look up the help files, or Google, transpose cells in Excel) Or you can copy, paste special, transpose. You may need to do it in a few separate sections depending on how big, complicated you range is. Once you’ve got the data laid out in Excel how you want, then convert to Word/PDF.

I'd actually suggest going about it another way, with a mail merge through Word. In word, go to tools / letters and mailings / mail merge and follow the wizard. The type you want is a "directory" (i.e. a list of all the various fields in a single document). You then insert items into your word document. In your example, you'd use Name: followed by inserting the "Name" field. Then hit return, etc. Remember to put two returns at the end so you have a line separating each entry. Hope this helps!
