convert word/excel into poiwerpoint

My boss sent me some word/excel files and wanted me to convert them into one power point file(one file = one slide). Every word/excel file is about one page long. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how to do this?

Try this:
Insert...New Slide Insert...Object - Check "Create from file" - Browse to a file - Double click the file name - If you check the Link box, changes to the original file will be reflected in your PowerPoint presentation. (This can be tricky based on if you need to take the ppt file on the road.) - Click OK - Format slide as required
