Do a Search & Replace.

Search for a DOT
Replace with a SLASH

Should give you a DATE.

Its not happening ....I already try this.
I have the date 01.02.2012
I replaced / in the place( .) it converted in 1/2/2012.
And when when i tried to change in another format like 1-may-2011
Its showing Just Opposite 2-Jan-12.
But my actual date should be 1-Feb-2012.

How do you have your Operating System Time set up?

On my U.S. system the default Date Format is: Month / Day / Year
so when I convert 01.02.2012 to 01/02/2012 it means: January 02, 2012

If you want your default Date Format as: Day / Month / Year
you need to change your System Time.

For Windows XP see here:
