How do you convert a html web page to become a single word document with all the pictures embedded in the document?
This is what happened to me:
When I save a webpage in the format of indexname.htm or indexame.html, the windows automatically created a folder of /indexname_files consist of the pictures or embedded items on the webpage.
When I reopened the indexname.htm on word documents, and look into the page views, all pictures were shown but when you save it as .doc word document, it wont save the pictures and when I transferred the .doc file onto different computer, the pictures are all gone, which means the pictures were all just in the form of linked images.
All I want is to convert them into a single word document, with all the images embedded in the file, not just links.
can you help me??
Thank you.

I wish to have the page in editable word document. There is no other format that I am interested in. Thanks

by the way, it consist of more than 20-30 images per page, so I wish not to convert each and every picture manually using screen print, capture or insert picture. Thanks

I couldn't recreate the problem. When I saved the page, opened it in Word, saved as a Document, and reopened, all graphics were there.
Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

you should try to reopen the documents in different computer, since the images were linked using the permanent address such as : C:\My Documents\Document_Files\Yourpicture.jpg
if you deleted the Document_Files\ directory, then you will have problem showing the web page that you saved as Word .doc.
