conditinal statements advanced =if

Specs: windows xp. excel 2003
I am trying to say =if H3 is less than 0, find the amt of days( days360) between b3 and i3. but if there is a # in h3 I need to calculate the amt of days between(again I have to use the =days360 formula) b3 and L1.
I think I am close.. I am trying =if(h3<0=days360(b3,h3),=days360(b3,L1))

Drop the equal signs:

=IF(H3<0, DAYS360(B3,H3), DAYS360(B3,L1))

P.S. There's nothing "advanced" about your statement. It's pretty much the standard use of IF.
