I am trying to get a weekly schedule on a different worksheet from a monthly spreedsheet. The Montly has all name on the employees name the next column are the times they work if they are working. I would like to just get the names of people working on one sheet for just a week at a time. Can I get the if function to compare times and do a vlookup to sort it by weekly.

It might help if we knew a little bit more about how the Monthly sheet is laid out.

The first column is a list of names and the first row is a list of dates. A time is put by the date they are working.
This information then has to be put into a sheet that is broken down by weeks (Sun -Sat) but only names go under the date and only if they are working should a name appear. Its a consolidated list of who's working that day.

If you don't mind blank cells in your weekly sheets, you could use something as simple as an IF formula:

Drag this across the seven cells under the dates on your Week Sheet and then down for as many rows as you have names. The names will show in the same cell location as the times show in the Month Sheet.

Obviously, the B2 would be changed to match the cell under the first day of each week.

If you are looking for something "neater", like all the names listed in contiguous cells under a date, then a macro could that fairly easily. Come on back if you want to see the code that would do that.
