combining functions in Excel

Is it possible to combine one or more functions in a single cell in Excel 2003?
I tried today();now() but that didn't work.

Attempting to use "Today" and "Now" is redundant, as "Now" will show the today's date AND the time. Just wondering what you're trying to accomplish..
