I need a macro to change the color of a specific row depending on the specific text that is input in cell in that row. So I have like 5 words that depending on what word I put in the specific cell that row is than changed to a specific color. Anyone help??
From your brief description, it sounds like you could probably use Conditional Formatting to do what you want in place of a Macro.
If your using 2000 or 2003 that is true, if your using 2007 or 2010 you do not have that limit.
It is possible, if you use a Defined Name and the =COUNTIF() function Post a short example of your sheet, with Column Letters and Row Numbers
