in my language, alphabetical sort order goes: A,B,C,Č,Ć,D,...,@
letters after C, before D, sounds like 'ch' and have -hm- hard and softy :) 'ch'...
So, how to tell excel to make this instead of:
@,A,B,C,...Thnx.

What version of Excel do you have? In my version (2003) it sorts according to your first example.
