I use Outlook 2000 on several computers on my network. It sends and receives mail using a hosted remote Exchange Server. I set up a new profile with a non confusing name when I started using the hosted Exchange server and selected it to load when Outlook opens.
Problem is when I use Send to option in Word to send a file, press a mailto in a web page, use the Efax wizard. In these cases, a message form is opened and the message appears to be sent; but it is not sent or even recorded as having existed. I believe these applications which pop up email forms are still using an inactive exchange profile. How do I fix or stop this?
