All too often, when I have made changes to a Word file, it says its read only and if I have made many changes, I need to do a Save As so as not to lose my work. Am using Word 2002. After I do the Save As I look at the original file's attributes and its NOT set as read only.
Summary: Actually no anyone can save to the share. And she cant save to ANY mapped drive in ANY dir. Path is not overly long, and, in fact has no spaces. Yet I can save to that dir using Excel 2003 from my PC....
