Folks,
I need to back up my inbox/outbox and contact in Outlook 2002. BUT...I have to do it without starting the Outlook program (long story).
HOWEVER....I CAN"T FIND THE .PST FILE ANYWHERE!! Really....I've searched the entire drive for *.pst and nothing shows up. I DO have Admin rights....so I can see everything. I even looked for it on a fellow worker's computer that is set up exactly like this one...and no .pst filed showed up anywhere??
Am I looking for the wrong thing? OR Is there anyother way to back up all my Outlook stuff (old mail...basically anything in the in or out boxes...all my outlook folders...and contact list)...without opening up the Outlook program?

Oops !!!
I found that .PST file....it's "hidden" so it does not show up in a search. It is located at: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
However....will ALL my Outlook stuff be in that .pst file? (all my saved mail...pending outgoing mail....contact list..etc)?
THANKS!

One more thing....
I started to do the "repair" utility on my Office 2000.
It wants to "re-intstall." That kinda makes me nervous. It is gonna wipe out all my data (spreadsheets, word docs, presentations, etc)???
OR...is this a "special" type of reinstall that keeps all my stuff?
