Excel doesn't really create "pages". Pages only enter into the discussion when it comes to printing the spreadsheet.
There are default Page Breaks and users can also insert their own Page Breaks. The user can also set a Print_Area so that only portions of the spreadsheet will actually be printed.
Is it possible that someone has set a Print_Area that only includes a part of the spreadsheet, enough to print the "9 pages"? If that's the case, then anything entered outside that Print_Area won't be printed unless you expand the Print_Area or delete it entirely. Deleting the Print_Area will allow Excel to print the entire spreadsheet.
Click the drop down in the Name Box above Column A. If you see the string Print_Area, select it. This should highlight the area that will be printed if a Print_Area has been manually set.
If you don't see Print_Area in that drop down or if I am way off base regarding your issue, you'll need to explain what is happening (or not happening) in more detail.
