All of a sudden my Outlook cannot open without any obvious reason.Ive tried to repair from CD (normal repair tool cannot be used because Outlook wont open) and reinstall it without any luck. The error message is always "Cannot start MS outlook.Cannot open Outlook window. The set of the folders could not be opened. The server is not available. If the problem persists contact your administrator."Note that my PC is only for personal use .Any suggestions ?

Try manually deleting all the outlook files then reinstall it. Try deleting the main file like mapi32.dll and restore it directly from the XP CD, (at least that's what it was in win98, don't know about xp)
