Hi all
I achieve my mails & contacts (impt stuff) before I left my previous employment and I'm trying so hard to retrieve all those information.
Before: Outlook 2003 on XP Pro, Exchange Server 2000
Now: Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000, Oracle Connector for Outlook
I copy the pst file (OL 2003), 1.2GB, to my current machine and try to open with OL 2000 but was prompted that file couldn't be open. "Property need to be define", "The file may not be compatible with this version of Outlook or maybe corrupted".
How can I open my pst file without upgrading my Outlook?
Thx in advance to all the very nice people.

You can't. You'll need to use a computer with Outlook 2003. Install pfbackup from Microsoft. Open the pst file and back it up, saving it in 97 - 2002 format. Then copy it to your current machine.
Then, install pfbackup on your current machine, File, Backup, Open, and point to the location of the backup file.
Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

I've no access to my previous Laptop now, can't back it up for downward compatible.
I guess the only way to get my mails and contacts back is upgrade to Outlook 2003.... low morale....
