I can not uninstall office 2007. I get an error "Can not find file F:\setup.ini" I have inserted the disk as required by the error message but it will not uninstall. I have also tried to delete the files directly with no luck. I have never found a program that could not be removed from a system. I did find a step by step process to remove the program, but it looks like an hour job. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Faster is Better!!

If you've already deleted some of the files installed, the uninstall probably won't work now. What is your F drive? You may have to do a Custom setup and add/remove features, then do an uninstall from the CD. Life's more painless for the brainless.

Yes, F: drive would likely be the CD/DVD ROM drive originally used to install from. Insert the disc into that drive and try again or even change the drive letter of your ROM device to F:. Bryan

I had the same problem, I walked though the manual uninstall and it still wouldn't reinstall. I have the upgrade and it kept telling me that my original disk was unrecognized. It turns out the uninstall did not remove all the pieces in the regestry. How I solved my problem by using YourUninstaller! 2008 Pro. I ran the program and it uninstalled Office 2007 completely.
