Word 2000
Having a formatting problem...
Am writing a resume and want to bullet some indented lines...

Here is what I want...("B" means "bullet")

PROFILE B line 1 of blah blah
B line 3 of blah blah
B third line of blah

When I highlight my lines of blah blah, it will place a bullet on the LEFT side of the word PROFILE...my first line of blah blah will not have a bullet...but the other lines will...

I want to get the bullet for the first line placed between the word PROFILE and the start of the first...then have all the other lines formatted in line below...

Hope this makes sense and I hope this sample formatting holds up in html...

How can I do this?

Thanx
Steve

Well that didn't work very well

I'll describe it like this...

PROFILE (tab, tab) B Line 1 of blah
(tab, tab, tab) B Line 2 of blah
(tab, tab, tab) B Lilne 3 of blah

The word PROFILE shoule be on the far left
then a tab or 2, then a bullet and the first line of blah blah

Then the second line should be a few tabs from the left and a bulletted line

Etc

Hope this helps...

I've tried to do something similar in the past and in the end had to use a text box (with no lines showing) for the words before the bullets.

hth.

A table with two columns and one row might work. You can put your text only in the second column and bullet it's contents. You then need to remove all inside and outside borders.
