Every time I open word, I have these Backwards L shapes (indents) at the top and bottom of the page (In all 4 corners). I can not click on them to delete or change them.
They are not in the Header and Footer space, but just beside it. An option in the Header's and Footers tool bar is to "show/Hide text" If I click on this to hide text, they disapear, however, return when I close Header's and Footers.
Does anyone know how to get rid of these?? I have tried everything I can think of!!
Thanks

Thanks for your reply LL, however, the Text Bouundries was already unchecked, so it did not work.
Its weard because they never used to be there, and then one day they were. (Only in Print Layout View)
If I move the margins up or down or sideways with the rulers, the objects (L Shapes) move accordingly.
Can anyone think of other ideas to remove these margin marks.
Its not a big deal, however, I hate looking at them!!! Its just one of those little things that piss you off the most....
Thanks for the help!!

Hi.
no change even if normal.dot removed..? i think the problem is around it, but where?..normal.dot location folder..?

I found the problem!! First I would just like to thank those who replied, I use this site a lot whenever I have problems! Its been great!
Anyways I went onto Microsofts discussion board, and there were simmilar questions.
It had to do with the Japanese Language pack that I installed. Any language pack will automatically create these marks.
To disable the language pack go to the start menue, Office folder, then Office Tools folder. Click on Office Language Settings and Disable the language that has been installed.
Hope that helps others with the same problem!!
