Hi reuven nice to meet you ! As for now PowerPoint exec Auto_Open() macro only for add-ins and not for normal presentations. I usually create an add-in or use Event Generator add-in located http://officerone.tripod.com/addins.html Immediate online help - at http://www.webhelpboard.com

thanks. the important clue was "Addin" the internet site sells software but it was quite easy to write the staff in VBA thanks again
