Subject: Auto send email upon login OutlookOS: WinXPCPU/Ram: 512MBModel/Manufacturer: IBM |
Comment: Dear All, I need some expert advice. I have few users who are running on MS Outlook 2000. Upon login to their Outlook, there will be an email or few emails sent to other users. The email will be a something like a Read response that once other party has read the email, it will trigger the Read event. I have unchecked the Read response and it does not help. Have check on their Outbox, but did not manage to find any emails being stuck there. Created additional PST file and change the Default Delivery to it, also doesnt help. Try removing the Profile, create another new Profile and doesnt help either. Any expert who know how to solve this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. melonMan

Reply: (edit)If email is being sent automatically, then either there's a virus/worm infection, or a rule has been setup to generate this outgoing email. Have you checked the Drafts folder? Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
