Auto reminder in excel

Specs: Windows 7
I have ordinary excel table with formulas and dates.When formula in cell fill up another cell with notification "SendReminder" i need to cell send me notification on e-mail. I need also to macro runs even when table is closed. Thank you

You will need to provide details of how your workbook is laid out, include column headers. Explain which columns change triggers the sending of the email.

This is pretty straight forward however in order for this to work when the workbook is closed you will need to setup a scheduled event, something I have not done. so hopefully someone can help with that when we have the working workbook.
