Hi all, hope someone can advise. When I attach a file, picture, etc to an email, I want to stop it being sent within the body of the email as well. No point in having attachments if I do!! Have cleared 'send pictures' box in HTML mail settings but it hasn't made any difference. There must be a setting somewhere to prohibit this. But where!! Thanx for any tips. Forgot to add, am using Outlook Express 6.

Are you attaching them with the attach file option, or are you pasting attchments in the body? On the other hand, if the recipient of your email has "inline images" on (default), OE will show the attachment at the bottom. Also, you may need to disable HTML format when composing new emails.

Thanx syrrys. If I pasted image I understand it would be within email so use the attach file option. Have changed HTML to 'plain text' but makes no difference. Where can I find the 'inline images' option?
