Appointments disappearing in Outloo

I have a small network of 5 computers, all running Office 2000, One of the computers is an editor for another computers calendar in Outlook. The problem is that I'll put the appointment in the calendar, and then the next day, it will have disappeared from all the calanders on the network. I have been racking my brain out on this one, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help in advance
