would like to make a list of all my passwords. it will have 4 columns (web site, user name, password, info gave). started entering info using a table, but couldn't figure out how to alphabetize the list so the web sites are in alphabetical order.
tried to highlite and use 'sort', but that didn't work.

Did you use the Sort option from the Table menu? Personally, I would use Excel.

Life's more painless for the brainless.

What do you mean "but that didn't work"?

Did you highlight a column by using the arrow at the top and clicking so it highlighted the website column? Did you then go to Table...Sort and choose the options you want?

When it "didn't work" what happened?

Personally, I would use Excel.

There seems to be an echo around here!

Yup I have done that in Excel, much much easier.
Another vote for doing it in Excel!

Hi,

I use Whisper32 to store all my passwords, have done for years, "does what it says on the tin", and it's free.

It's not that I can't remember things as I get older, it's just that my hard drive's full.

By the way, if any of you are having touble with the Excel files that contain your passwords, just send me the file and I'll take look at it. Make sure you leave all the data in the file, so I'm working on the real thing. ;-)
