hi friends, today i've to ask a different question i've installed acrobat reader 7.0 on my system the excel has a menu named as PDF maker now through it i can convert my work into pdf but the problem is connected to WOrd the said option is not appearing in the menu how can i see it on the menu so that i can also convert my documents of word into pdf Waiting for your replies urgently and quickly thnkx

You cannot create pdf files with Adobe Reader. You need the full Adobe Acrobat version (or another pdf program) to create pdf files. If you install the full program, in Word, View, Toolbars, Check PDFMaketo show the pdf icon on the toolbar.

If you are using Microsoft Office 2007, there is a free download from MS that will allow you to Save As either .pdf or .xps. I am not sure if this would work in earlier versions though. Comparing it to my Acrobat 7 Pro to convert documents to .pdf, the MS download is faster. Adobe Reader 8 is also now available, just FYI
