Adobe Acrobat problem

Having problem with this software whenever i click a desktop or any link it pops up installing adobe acrobat 7.0 error 1325Tempccprofiles is not a valid short file name i try to restore my cpu but it still shows and i tried to downoad the software from the website but it doesn't download, how do i fix this think plz. ty

Have you indeed installed Adobe Acrobat 7? If so, is it Standard or Pro? Or are you referring to the Reader? I'm leaning toward Reader since you say you're attempting to download (reinstall) the software, but can you clarify? What exactly do you mean by "restore my cpu?"
