Hello
Im having problems using Adobe Acrobat 5 Distiller. If I have any document open and try to print to the "Acrobat Distiller" printer is says document failed to print, the print job says error on it, and the program I'm printing from freezes.
This happens on all user and admin accounts. I have searched the net high and low and can't find a solution.
I am using Citrix but I have tried it directly on the Citrix server computer and it has the same result.
I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, then reinstalling but it hasn't changed a thing.
Any help appreciated,
Thanks.

Have you tried a Repair of Adobe? And, btw, double-posting is not permitted on this site.
You didn't respond to my reply to your original post here: http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

I just reposted here because you said it should be posted in the Office forum.
It doesn't have the repair option, so I guess Acrobat 5 doesn't have it. Any other ideas?

Some more info:
If I connect to the server with a console session then Distiller works fine. If I just use a normal remote desktop connection it doesn't.
Also when it fails to print, the print job gets stuck and can't be deleted. I have to restart the print spooler service for it to go away.

I said in my post "For future reference" I assumed you would keep that in mind for future posts. Perhaps I should have been more specific.
So, you're not actually printing to the Adobe printer on a Local computer? Now I'm confused.
What happens if you select the option to create a pdf rather than print to the Distiller? Are you running Microsoft Office? If so, which version.?
