Hi, I have just upgraded my Outlook version to Outlook2002 - and I am I am unable to access my mails now(the .pst is password protected). I had used the 'save password' option in the earlier Outlook. Could you tell me a way of accessing the .pst either by locating the password and changing it or by bypassing it in some way?
Thanks and Regards Rajat.

I ran into this a couple of years ago, try this utility, http://passwordtools.com/outlook/default.asp
it doesn't retrieve the password but it will get you back into the .pst file.

The Save Password option in email and password protecting a Pst file are not the same thing. Charlie's suggestion is great and will work if the pst is actually password-protected, but if it's the "Save Password" option from within Outlook, then you'll need to obtain your email password to download any new mail.
