Access 2K on Internet?

I want to make an Access 2K database available on the net. It's a rather simple name and address DB that I would like the ability to read and update. I've created a DAP that works correctly on my local PC but I can't find anything in the help files nor my own Access reference (Access 2000, by Jennings) that describes this process. For example, where do the front-end and back-end reside and how is the DAP accessed from the Internet? I'd appreciate some help or direction with this migration.

Your web server needs to suupport access and the database needs to be installed on there, the webpage then interrogates the database.
If it is a simple name and address database then the above may be too complex and costly, your webpage could sift through a text file just as easily, or, if it is not too large, it could even be downloaded with the webpage and interrogated at the user end.
Maybe I have got my grumpy head on today but are these people individuals and are they happy to have their home addresses available to the entire world ?
