How do I change the default template directory?
the original default directory is C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates and now I want it changed to d:\templatesThanks for the help
Hello!

I am no Registry pro, but i think if you change the registry value to d:\templates it will work.
The value is located here, and it should have
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Security\Trusted Locations\Location1
Called "Path"
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\"
Now if you change that "path" to "d:\templates" i think it will work.
LIKE I SAID I AM NO REGISTRY PRO, so please BACKUP your registry, if you decide to try this.
(start>run>regedit>file>export>backupreg)
